The Vikings have to be one of the biggest shocker of the season so far for me. I knew the return of Adrian Peterson would help young stud Teddy Bridgewater out a lot but I didn’t expect them to be sitting at 6-2 and undefeated against division opponents headed into week 10. Bridgewater was sidelined during Sunday’s game with a concussion but coach Mike Zimmer feels he is well on his way to be able to play in Sunday’s matchup with th Oakland Raiders.
“He should be good to go, I think,” said Zimmer.
Maybe this is some gamesmanship from coach not trying to show his hand headed into next week’s game. Bridgewater took a nasty shot from Lamarcus Joyner of the Rams but has passed the first test of the concussion protocol. Bridgewater went 13-of- 21 for 144 yards with an interception before being knocked out of the game.
