The SEC may have been down this year according to NCAA die-hards but somebody forgot to tell Vegas that. The college football playoff brackets were just announced and the sports books in Vegas have already posted the odds for both match ups.
Opening #cfb playoff numbers at Westgate Las Vegas: Alabama -9 over MSU, Oklahoma -2.5 over Clemson

I’m sure MSU fans will be offended by such a large spread, figuring, their only loss of the year was to Nebraska by 1-point. They’ve also held opponents 12.5 points ppg in their last 4 match-ups, including wins over Iowa and Ohio State.
Alabama is a team that is heavily dependent on the running game offensively, specifically Derrick Henry, and Michigan State has proven to stand tall against ground attacks.
It’s hard to see Alabama putting up enough points to beat MSU by 10.
