What’s the competition like in Toronto?
Ahmed Ali, a senior at John Polanyi Collegiate Institute in Toronto, lit up C.W. Jefferys to the tune of 103 points on his own –. becoming only the second Canadian high school player to score more than 100 points in a game; Denham Brown put up 111 points in 2002.
“After the first half, I started taking stats, I felt something special was going to happen,” explained his Prep Head Coach Adeel Sahibzada.
Ali hit 23 threes, five of which were from half court.
