After getting off to a surprising start, the New York Knicks have comeback down to reality lately.
They’re currently on a three-game losing streak and after blowing a big lead to Atlanta yesterday, Carmelo Anthony decided to speak out.
“That third quarter, 27-12, I don’t want to say not ready, but not being prepared for the adjustment they were going to make,’’ Anthony said. “It was a tale of two halves. We started out the game pretty well. Coming out the third quarter, we didn’t start the game well. That one quarter hurt us.’’
Rookie Kristaps Porzingis wasn’t pleased either.
“It is always disappointing to blow that lead we had and let them do what they wanted to do with us,’’ Porzingis stressed. “We all needed to step up. We all started out good and got a little comfortable.’’
In hopes of snapping their losing streak, the Knicks will have to do so against a good Celtics team in Boston.
