Mick Foley Frustrated Over WWE Use of Sasha Banks

Mick Foley and Sasha Banks

Mick Foley is frustrated with the WWE product and he is not afraid to show it. The Hardcore Legend took to the Steve Austin podcast to voice his displeasure with the product and took aim at Vince McMahon with his criticism. Mick Foley and Steve Austin were in agreement that the WWE is doing too much micromanaging of their talent and not letting them be. Foley was most annoyed by the way that the Divas are being used, most notably Sasha Banks who is a superstar in waiting.

Via The Inquisitr,

“Sasha Banks is living the dream, she’s got a character that works, and I think she’s being messed with. If you have someone who’s there, who’s firing on all cylinders, and I’m saying this to Vince [McMahon], leave her alone! Let her do her thing. You’re 70 Vince. She’s 23. You don’t speak for everybody out there. Just because you don’t get it, doesn’t mean it’s not there to be gotten.”

I have to agree 100% with Mick. It’s a shame what they are doing with Sasha Banks right now and the way they are portraying her on TV. The girl has “IT” and the fans know it. Vince, on the other hand, is lost on her popularity and is absolutely wasting her on Team BAD. Of course, Sasha loves the wrestling business and understands she needs to play the role given to her, but someone needs to speak up for her character.

Mick Foley has more to say on story lines including his belief that the Roman Reigns character would take off as part of the Authority but feels the WWE is desperately forcing him into a face role and having him overact. Mick Foley also would like to drive over the WWE Headquarters and have a face to face meeting with Vince McMahon to express his feelings. Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks are the future of the WWE and there is no secret that they are not being handled great. Hopefully the WWE listens and follows Foley and Austin’s advice.
