If you have been following my twitter account @keldansby, you already know that the Irish are here in Vegas in FULL FORCE.
Some of those fans though are going to have to book another flight after this happened.
Mix Conor McGregor fans, adult beverages, and an enclosed space – say, oh, I don’t know, a Jet Blue flight traveling from New York to Las Vegas – and you have yourself a recipe for chaos.
Thursday, Jet Blue Flight 611 left New York en route to Sin City. Then, after just 25 minutes, the flight had to be rerouted back to JFK airport due to disorderly Irish passengers.
According to witness reports, trouble began when the boisterous McGregor faithful decided to break out in “Ole!” chants before takeoff. Due to the level of the yelling, one particularly intoxicated passenger was removed from the flight.
Then, after the delay, and after 30 minutes into their voyage, two Irish fans began arguing. Some ‘slaps’ were thrown, the crew intervened, and the flight was diverted back to New York.
As the kids say, “IT’S LIT!!!!”
Just imagine how it is going to be on Saturday night?
