Could be nothing — but it’s usually something when a visiting team pulls up to Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots advanced to the AFC Championship Game with a win over the Chiefs Saturday night — and per the usual course — the opposing head coach had complaints about the communication systems.
Kansas City coach Andy Reid told reporters after the game that his team experienced some issues with their headsets in the first half.
At one point — quarterback Alex Smith was unable to hear the calls from the coaching staff — but Reid pointed out that things got back to normal shortly after.
Reid said the headsets malfunctioned “just a little bit, not much,” — but didn’t throw out any accusations.
