That didn’t take long at all. Anthony Johnson knocked out Ryan Bader in the first round at the UFC on Fox 18. After a failed submission by Bader that left Johnson in full mount, he let the punches fly and eventually knocked out Bader.
Seeing that reminds me what an incredibly intense sport the UFC is. Obviously, a combat sport is going to be tough, but to get punched in the head like that over and over by a professional puncher is brutal, especially knowing what kind of damage that is doing to your brain.
Tough day at the office, I guess.
