The college football season came to a close Monday night in a tightly contested College Football Championship Game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers, who proved worthy of being the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams in the country. In the end it was Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide modern dynasty that captured their fourth National Championship in seven years, leaving the upstart Tigers and Dabo Swinney motivated as ever for next season with quarterback Deshaun Watson returning.

According to TotallyTickets.com, the average ticket price of $939.55 and get-in price of $217 is the early leader on the secondary market for next season’s games.
In the Big 12, a conference matchup between Oklahoma State and West Virginia lead the way with a October 29th date at Boone Pickens Stadium with an average ticket price of over $850 and a get-in price of $207. The Pac-12 is represented by an early matchup between Utah and USC that has an average ticket price just below the $800 mark.
The ACC’s most expensive matchup is a home game for the North Carolina State Wolfpack who will have their chance at a signature win against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on October 8th with an average ticket price of $775.29 and a get-in price of nearly $700. Both prices will surely come down as the calendar approaches the date of the game.
One of the most interesting non-conference matchups with early national championship implications will be between the Oklahoma Sooners and Ohio State Buckeyes on September 17th in Norman, OK. Oklahoma football tickets have an average price of nearly $600 and a get-in price of $183 for one of, if not the top non-conference matchup of next season.
