Go to the 33 minute mark of my podcast The Drip Drop Hour.
I talk about how I think the Manziel concussion story sounded more like a cover up. How did I come to that conclusion?
I used common sense and got confirmation from a few sources. Knowing what we know about concussion symptoms, there is no way anyone with a concussion would want to make a cross-country flight and subject themselves to the blaring music and lights of Vegas.
It simply made no sense, now people who do have sources are backing up my theory.
Two sources close to the Browns organization told DYST that the concussion was made up.
They said that concussion was a PR move to cover up for Manziel, who showed up to practice last week noticeably intoxicated.
They also added that the reason he didn’t show up for his Sunday morning concussion treatment was because he didn’t actually have a concussion and he didn’t realize that he was supposed to play along with the story to that extent.
This sounds more plausible than him actually having a concussion in my mind.
