Kobe Bryant continues his farewell tour tonight as his Lakers visit the Cleveland Cavaliers. As apart of his season long retirement party, each city is paying their respects to Kobe with a tribute video as well as coaches and players sharing some of their most memorable stories about Kobe. Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue was one of Kobe’s teammates with the Lakers from 1998-2001. Of course Lue has some good stories to share about Kobe including why Kobe wanted to fight him.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to me at all. Kobe is the ultimate competitor on court and a true alpha male. He sets the tone and never likes to be out done by anyone. Kobe playing new guys 1-on-1 was without a doubt an intimidation move to show his dominance. After Lue was able to block Kobe’s dunk off the glass, I would have walked off the court and never played Kobe again. He has bragging rights forever.
