According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Peyton Manning doesn’t want to retire, he wants to keep playing. Even though the Broncos won the Super Bowl, it doesn’t change the fact that Peyton wasn’t very good in 2015.
Sometimes stats lie, but these don’t
In the 10 regular season games he played in he had a 59% completion, 9 TDs and 17 INTs.
In the Broncos three postseason games he had a 55% completion, 2 TDs and 3 turnovers.
The Broncos won the Super Bowl in spite of Peyton not because of Peyton. He should be forever grateful for that, because 20 years from now no one will remember how awful he truly was.
The Broncos don’t want him back and any team that is thinking about signing him needs to realize this isn’t your older brother’s Peyton Manning, this is essentially Kobe playing with Lakers right now and that maybe insulting to Kobe.
