You can relax Eagles fans.
You will be stucked with Bradford for at least one more year, but his contract while still very lucrative for that one year, isn’t as bad as it initially feared.
When people heard 2-years $36 million and $28 million guaranteed, they lost their mind, but here is the true breakdown.
Some details on Bradford/Eagles deal: of $26M total guarantee, $22M fully guaranteed upon signing. $18M in 2016, up to $20M w/playoff wins.

Bradford details continued: $11M signing bonus, $7M salary in 2016. $4M of 2017 salary fully guaranteed, another $4M guaranteed for injury.

So essentially it is a 1-year deal for $18 million (a little less than the franchise tag) and if they part ways next year, Bradford gets a $4 million go away bonus.
Nothing else is guaranteed except for injury next year if they decide to keep him around. Still a lot of money for Bradford, but the structure is in line with what decent to average QBs are getting these days.
