Last night was pretty late for UNC. On Friday, Coach Roy Williams spoke of his distaste of UNC having a 9:50pm start time during the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

“I despise it. I’ll sit in the hotel and not get to go to work until 9:30 at night.  “Don’t we have games out (west) that we can show on TV at that time? It’s like spitting into the wind. It’s stupid because you can’t do anything about it, but I despite it.”

But Coach Williams wasn’t the only one who didnt like the late start, the players were bored to say the least through out the day, so much so that Justin Jackson and Isaiah almost competed for who could sleep the most.

Although they seemed to be sluggish at the beginning of the game and was told to “Wake up” by Williams, UNC eventually came to and dominated Providence. Through out the game, it seemed as though Providence had UNC’s number and was going to pull off an upset, but under the leadership of Brice Johnson and the assistance of Justin Jackson, UNC became unstoppable.

UNC continues their dance to Philadelphia to play opponent, Indiana, March 25th. Time has not been announced.
