According to Jerry Jones’ fellow billionaire and friend T. Boone Pickens, “Johnny Football” is not in the Dallas Cowboys’ future plans. Jones and Pickens had dinner recently and the Cowboys owner made it clear to Pickens that Johnny Manziel is not an option for the Cowboys.
Since Manziel’s release from the Browns, he has been linked to the Cowboys. You may remember that Jones coveted the then Texas A&M quarterback in the 2014 NFL Draft. Even going so far as to call not picking Manziel a regret.
You can never put anything past Jones, but I’m inclined to believe he is over his infatuation with Manziel.
