Klay Thompson spoke with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols on what it was like to see Michael Jordan play for the first time. Klay was a kid in the 90’s, and caught a game when Jordan played the Blazers in 1998. Thompson was in awe of seeing the legend and made this comparison:
“I remember going to a Blazers game in ’98 when Jordan was there,” Thompson told Nichols. “It was like nothing I’d ever seen before. It was like Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber was in the building, all in one though.”
While Justin Bieber is very talented, I’m struggling with him being mentioned in the same breath as Michael Jackson. Let’s just say it’s been a long season, and the pressure to try to break the 96′ Bulls 72-win record, is affecting Klay’s thought process.
