We wrote about the potential sale of the UFC yesterday. First reported by ESPN’s Darren Rovell, brothers Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, who control the UFC’s parent company Zuffa, LLC are asking for $3.5 to $4 billion for the extremely lucrative business. It was also reported by Rovell that the Fertitta’s are interested in the Oakland Raiders’ potential move to Las Vegas.
And, according to Front Row Brian, who is in the know about major UFC related news. The Fertitta’s have always wanted to own an NFL franchise. Mark Davis and the Raiders will be looking for additional cash as they seek to move to Las Vegas. The Fertitta’s could be the right new investors at the right time.
