LA Rams Kick Off 2-Day Rookie Minicamp At Oxnard Facility

LA Rams Rookie CampOn Friday, the Rams opened their Oxnard doors to 27 hopefuls to participate in a two-day rookie minicamp. While the organization has a level of interest in all the attendees, considerable attention will be fixed on No. 1 overall draft pick Jared Goff as he looks to prepare himself to assume the lead quarterback position in the future.

The rigorous 2-day orientation will consist of players who were drafted last week, signed as underrated free agents or invited walk-ons. Although the terminology and general operations of the team are new to all of the freshman players, Goff appeared to be confident in his ability to catch on quickly.

had to learn everything in the last week or so. But just getting adjusted to it. I feel really good, had a really good first day.

Joining Goff in the Rams’  rookie class are receiver Pharaoh Cooper of South Carolina; receiver Michael Thomas, a sixth-round pick from Southern Mississippi; undrafted free agents Marquez North (Tennessee), Paul McRoberts (Southeast Missouri State) and Nelson Spruce (Colorado); and J.J. Worton (Central Florida), who is with the team on a tryout basis.
