NBC’s breakout hit The Carmichael Show, based on the life of stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael and his opinionated southern family, has been picked up for a third consecutive season. Great news for fans who have embraced the show’s ‘no subject is off limits’ approach to story telling but where the show will land in the programming schedule is still unclear.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, network officials have yet to determine whether or not the show will remain in it’s current time slot and have yet to make a final determination on how many episodes the new season will run.
One thing is certain, the show will continue to start needed conversations that have gone ignored by network TV in the past.
