It’s starting to look like Chris Brown’s name is in the news every week for the wrong reason. He’s becoming an easy target which is shown by the ongoing allegations that pop up so frequently. This time, it’s Suge Knight’s turn.
According to Variety.com, Suge Knight has filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown and a Los Angeles club over a shooting at a party Chris Brown hosted. The party was held at 1 Oak nightclub and Suge Knight left with multiple gun shot wounds.
The lawsuit was filed on Monday by Knight, who is currently awaiting trail for murder, stating that Brown and the club did not take proper security measures at a pre-MTV VMA Awards party. The suit stated that at least one person was allowed into the party with a firearm and mentioned Chris Brown being linked go a gang.
“As a result of the negligence of the defendants, one or more unknown individuals were allowed access to the event with weapons, including firearms,” the lawsuit says. “As a foreseeable result, gunshots were fired by those admitted into the event and (Knight) was shot and seriously injured.”
Knight was shot seven times being hit in the chest, abdomen and forearm, none of these gun shot wounds were life threatening.
