Money in the Bank is shaping up to be this year’s best post-Mania PPV and although the card begins with a few questionable matches it has more than a few can’t miss matches.
The Dudley Boyz vs. Lucha Dragons (pre-show)
– Why or how this match got added to the card is beyond me but nonetheless we will get the Dudleyz vs Lucha Dragons in a tag match. The Dudleyz can enter a program with one of the baby-face teams in the near future but need a bit of a push. Dudleyz Win
The Golden Truth vs. Breezango (pre-show)
– Breezango is one of the worst team names in WWE history, in fact, the internet’s name of FaBreeze is so much better that someone in creative needs to hand over their check. The only thing worse is being forced to watch The Golden Truth over the past 6 months. This match is a wash and a snack break at best. Breezango Wins (No one actually cares)
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
– Ziggler vs Corbin’s rubber match is better served as a filler between one of the main event matches but instead it’ll probably kick-off the show. Each person holds a win over the other but Corbin needs to win clean to establish himself as a true heel leading up to the brand split.
Apollo Crews vs. Sheamus
– Apollo Crews has been one of the toughest WWE superstars to figure out. He never made a real mark in NXT and wasn’t given the proper time to figure out his character. Now he’s on the main roster with no true back story and a bunch of awkward promos. That leads us to his first feud with Sheamus, a man just 6 months removed from a title reign. Sheamus is happy to be separated from the League of Nations, but it won’t translate into a win tonight. Crews Wins
