Tyler Johnson’s wait on whether the Miami Heat would match the Brooklyn Nets contract is over. The Heat have denied the Nets on signing the promising guard and have matched the $50-million offer sheet. Miami Heat’s Justice Winslow was happy to share his feelings on the matter, tweeting both Tyler and Whiteside and proclaiming them “Underdogs”.
Tyler Johnson is going to get a lot of playing time this season and Miami will try to boost his profile this year to make him a valuable trade chip next summer. It only makes sense with Miami looking to not be a very good team, they want to leave as many doors open as possible for 2017. Johnson is a fun player and hopefully we see him grow some more this upcoming season.
