Rio has a lot of problems but their biggest problem is Pokemon Go. Olympic athletes want to play the game but they can’t because it simply isn’t available in Brazil yet.
For The Win found a few tweets from athletes that were disappointed they can’t catch Pikachu during the summer games.
There’s no doubt that Pokemon Go should be available soon in Rio. It would be an epic fail if it weren’t.

New Zealand soccer player, Anna Green spoke with the AP and said,
“I wish I could run around in the [athletes’] village catching Pokemon. I just can’t get it on the phone. It’s fine, but it would have been something fun to do.”
It’s serious for these athletes. They better not go too far out of the Olympic village because we see what Rio has to offer and it doesn’t look to nice.
However, if these athletes don’t medal, catching a rare pokemon should make up for it.
