Browns VP Gives His Expectations on the Team This Season

Cleveland Browns

Are the expectations high for the Browns high this season?

After trading their 2013 first round pick Barkevious Mingo on early Thursday afternoon, the thought going around is that the Browns are trying to tank for more first round picks, but the team’s vice president Sashi Brown has something to say for the critics.

“If that’s the perception, I would say that’s laughable and I think we’re all competitive guys. We understand that part of what we need to do is build a winning culture here, and everything that we’ve talked about and worked towards is aimed at winning and there are no seasons off or, for us even, reps off.”

“I think if anybody has been around our facility, they’d know how silly that is,” Brown said, via Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com. “We want to win. Our expectations are, just because we have a younger roster, doesn’t mean that we’re at all trying to lose, I guess.

Brown would also go on to say that the team would be disappointed if they won only four games this season. They’ve won more than five games once in the last eight seasons. Can they achieve their goal?
