Many fantasy football players are gearing up to select the team that’ll finally earn them glory amongst their peers and bring home their leagues ultimate prize.
With that being said, it’s not the 1st-3rd round picks that win championships but the late-round sleepers. Here’s a few suggestions that’ll help you take home some cash & bragging rights this season:
Top 5 QB Sleepers
Many longtime fantasy players wait until after the 6th round to select their QB. Last year Cam Newton went around this time and this year there’s plenty of talented players available.
1. Marcus Mariota (Titans) – Mariota has had a good preseason and his second year with the Titans should see him take a huge step forward. The Titans have spent a lot of time upgrading their offensive line and with two new weapons in the back field, DeMarco Murray & Derrick Henry, he’s poised to exploit teams with play-action passes.
2. Brock Osweiler (Texans) – Brock Osweiler steps into a great situation. The Texans have a Top 5 WR in DeAndre Hopkins and two promising rookies in Will Fuller & Braxton Miller. Lamar Miller in the backfield gives him another weapon on 3rd down passes, which will help him move the chains against some of the NFL’s worst defenses in the AFC South.
