31 year old Mohammad Robinson was killed outside of a Las Vegas McDonald’s after an argument with a woman over not holding the door open.
According to WJLA, Robinson got into an argument with a woman that was upset that a door into the McDonald’s was not held open for her. The woman notified a man she was with and that man pulled out a gun and shot and killed Robinson.
Senseless violence like this happens everyday and we have become so numb to it. Gun control is certainly an issue, but what we must ask ourselves is, why was this response an option? If someone doesn’t hold the door open for someone you are with, do you think shooting and killing that person is an appropriate response? Why is violence the default answer?
