Errol Spence Jr has his mindset right and is seeking to end this match in a knock out. However, Leonard Bundu, being the veteran, is going to do his best to stop it. Who will win?
Premiere Boxing Champions has been waking up everyone’s inner boxing fan and they have yet again, delivered another great match. Errol Spence Jr is expected to fight Leonard Bundu on August 21 in Coney Island, New York. Many of us witnessed how Spence Jr took out Chris Algieri and this young man has just continued to excel from there.
The two boxers are battling in an IBF title eliminator. The stakes are high and although you may have winner in mind, veteran Bundu said that he’s hoping to bring an upset. In an interview with us, Bundu discussed his disadvantages and he’s well aware of the type of fighter that Spence Jr is. Spence holds an impressive 20-0 record with 17 knockouts meanwhile, Bundu’s record also stands tall at 33-1-2 with 12 knockouts. Here’s what he had to say to us in regards to his underdog status versus Spence.
Height difference isn’t going to stand in his way but is it enough to beat Spence?
Spence Jr has confidence in his eye and carries himself well. He trusts in his skill and proudly said that he wants to end this fight with a knock out. He does have advantages over Bundu. He is taller and has bigger reach. You’re probably thinking to yourself, “Why even fight Bundu if its evident that he’s going to win?” Well, it’s just another plateau that Spence has to cross over. Here’s what he had to say to us in regards to the fight.
How will the match pan out? As much as I dislike knock outs, only because it takes away from seeing fighters go at it, I think that it may end with a knock out. If you’ve seen Spence fight, you can almost trust that his punches have bricks in them that may very well knock you out. If this fight goes beyond the 7th round, it will be a bit of shocker.
Make sure to not miss this fight because people will be talking about it for months to come. The action starts on NBC at 5 pm EST. Who do you have winning?
