It sounds more like Jimmy Feigen was robbed twice — the second time to the tune of a “donation” that may never reach its intended target.
The lawyer for U.S. Olympic swimmer James Feigen says he will pay about $10,800 Friday — thus allowing him to leave Brazil following the robbery scandal involving Ryan Lochte and two other swim team members per ESPN.com.
Breno Melaragno, Feigen’s attorney said that under an agreement reached with a Brazilian judge, Feigen will donate 35,000 Brazilian reals to an ”institution” and depart.
Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger essentially turned confidential informant’s on Lochte — before leaving Brazil on Thursday night after giving testimony to police.
Police say the real story is that Lochte and the three other swimmers had not been held at gunpoint — instead confirming that the group was drunk beyond belief — destroying a bathroom before having an altercation with security.
