Reading between the lines is fundamental and in this latest video by the Jordan brand, it has a few people thinking that some low blows are being sent towards Kevin Durant. Are some mean uppercuts being shot here? You decide.
Glancing upon the comments in this video that Jordan posted on their Instagram, it’s clear that others also think that some shots were fired towards Kevin Durant. After listening to the voiceover, can we honestly think that a message was sent? Perhaps.
But once Westbrook takes flight, a voiceover proclaims that, “Some run. Some make runways.” Could the “run” in question be in reference to Durant’s departure to Golden State, and the “runway” analogous to Westbrook’s contract extension in OKC?
This might be a bit of reach but it’s still very much possible. At the end of the day, it’s a topic that we all have to move on from.
