Just when you thought that your morning commute would be peaceful, the New York Mets go ahead and break Twitter by signing Tim Tebow to a minor league deal.
The Brooklyn Cyclones just got a bit more interesting and I’m sure their sales are going to skyrocket briefly as they’re set to have a new star on staff, Tim Tebow. Tebow had his workout and the teams rumored to possibly sign him were the Blue Jays or the Red Sox. This just proves that nothing is certain in baseball as the Mets came out of left field with this new acquisition.
As a Mets fan, my bias side is about to unleash. But we have to be realistic. Will he do well in baseball? We’ll have to stay tuned as we watch the former Heisman Trophy winner take this new journey in the MLB.
