The judgement is real.
Ed Werder is a talented NFL journalist, but he also has his moments where he’s able to get holier than thou — like this response to the New York Times and other reputable outlets quoting Donald Trump’s claim that you should “grab women by the p*ssy” if you please.
Werder took great offense to media outlets across the country feeling comfortable enough to quote Trump’s use of the word “f*ck” and “p*ssy” — denouncing everyone involved.
Don't see how it that is necessary. He can be quoted and we can all know what he's saying without seeing all four letters https://t.co/A7mhw7qvV9

So all who defend using the four-letter word in print want to hear national news anchors say it when reporting it on TV?

It's called decency https://t.co/5wM9uzxPJ7

Reading his timeline, it seems like Werder objected more to the word “f*ck” — specifically, it being on the cover of the New York Times.
