Hockey players are some of the toughest athletes on the planet and once again it’s proven by Philadelphia Flyer Shayne Gostisbehere.
During the Flyers’ last game Shayne took a skate to the face as he scrambled to clear the puck. He is lucky that the skate didn’t connect with his neck but still his face was worse for wear.
If I was to take a skate to the face I’d look more like this:
Instead, Shane returned to the game shortly after. Now that’s toughness.
