It’s going to be while before Kevin Durant will hear the end of all the OKC Thunder and Russell Westbrook questions. There were times where the duo just couldn’t seem to get it together as they failed to capture an NBA title. KD joined Bill Simmons on Any Given Wednesday to explain why Kendrick Perkins was his favorite teammate via NBC Sports.
From a talent perspective no doubt Russ is the better player than Perkins, but leadership can’t be underestimated when trying to win an NBA title. I don’t think it’s any bad blood between the old duo, but I’m looking forward to seeing them meet up against each other this season.
