Despite getting dominated from start to finish, Manny Pacquiao Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38 knockouts) still believes he can take down the pound for pound king, Floyd Mayweather.
The eight division world champion blamed his shoulder injury for his lackluster performance, and thinks he deserves a rematch if he can stop Jessie Vargas.
According to the LA Times, Moonves told the boxing champ Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach that he thinks the rematch can really take place. On one hand, Coach Roach and Pacquiao are both eager on having a second shot against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. after losing in 2015 with a unanimous decision in the title “fight of the century”.
Pacquiao will likely have to dominate Vargas to get Floyd intrigued in the matchup again.
