Draymond Green is one of the NBA's best defenders – but is not accustomed to guarding unicorns https://t.co/xSPjPM43gh

As the Knicks are getting close to closing out their West Coast trip, it was time to face the Warriors. One comment made by Kristaps Porzingis got Draymond Green all riled up and thus resulted in a low scoring Porzingis.
As you can see above, Draymond Green was on Kristaps Porzingis like white on rice. But there was a special reason behind this extreme hustle that Green displayed. Prior to the start of the game, Porzingis was asked about the game and if he’s ready to face Green. Porzingis said:
I’m ready for him.
Knowing the type of player that Draymond Green is, when he got a word of this comment, it motivated him to go hard on Porzingis.
“It made me want to go a little harder this game and guard him. So it was good,” Green said. “I appreciate (my Nike rep) for showing me that because I was a little bit in la-la land before he showed me that and it immediately pissed me off.”
Although he played for 35 minutes, Porzingis was held a to super low 8-point scoring. Green wasn’t quite done with his commentary.
“I like the passion, I like the dog that he has, I like that he wants to see me again,” Green said. “But keep that to yourself.”
Just another day in the life of Draymond Green.
