Jeff Sessions entered the chambers for his confirmation hearing as Donald Trump’s pick for Attorney General and chaos ensued. The Alabama Senator’s Senate hearing was interrupted by men dressed as Klansmen and wearing foam fingers.
The men stood on chairs and waved the foam fingers, which read, “KKK” and “Go, Jeffie Boy” and appeared to show mock support for the Senator.
When cops showed up, the men shouted, “You can’t arrest me. I’m white!” With the way Trump’s rallies went during the election, it’s hard to tell if the men were showing sincere support or voicing their displeasure.
You be the judge.
