JHud and fiance David Otunga have been engaged so long, that many forgot they were even in a relationship. Hudson and the WWE announcer have been engaged since 2008.
Traditionally engagements last less than a year before the couple heads down the aisle. However, the singer/actress doesn’t feel the least bit pressured to rush to “I Do,”.
The couple’s 7-year-old son David Jr. sometimes urges his parents to make it official, but JHud notes that many couples are together for years and years only to split after exchanging vows.
Everyone has married us off anyway and we’re still a family but there’s no difference. I’m a believer in you do well and better in what you want to do rather than what you have to do. If you have to be somewhere, you don’t want to do it no more.
