Ricky Williams had a crazy encounter with police officers last week. He was taking a walk and someone called the cops to report a “suspicious person” who may have stolen a tape measure from a backyard.
For starters, why are you so preoccupied with someone over a potentially stolen tape measure? However, we all know the real reason why he was stopped.
Williams sat down with the The Tomorrow Show with Keven Undergaro and talked about what happened.
He talks about what he was thinking and he mentions the fact that him being famous is why he didn’t end up in bad shape. Which is a point that many famous black people like to skip over.
Fame helps you a lot. Shaquille O’neal said black people should be respectful towards cops and when he’s stopped he’s not worried because he shows respect. Well, you are Shaq and you’re a cop as well. You hear the same thing from Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith etc.
