Shaq has been beefing with some giants. He and JaVale McGee got into such a heated one on Twitter, their moms got involved. Before that, he was in a more playful beef with WWE’s Big Show.
They’ve run into each other a lot in the past and his appearance at WrestleMania 32 last year definitely planted seeds for an actual match between he and Show. They been jawing back & forth to keep it alive.
However, it looks like negotiations may have broken down between WWE and Shaq.
Here’s what Shaq had to say on his podcast.
“It’s not going to happen? That’s probably right,” O’Neal said. “It’s not my fault, that’s all you need to know. It ain’t my fault … Oh, it ain’t my fault. It don’t matter what they say. It has nothing to do with the Diesel and his management. That’s what I got to say, but, it’s not totally off yet but it’s not looking good. But it doesn’t matter, I’m still working out and I still look better than Big Show. I’ll still meet him wherever he wants to meet me. These next thirty days, I’m about to go hard. I’m still doing it like it’s going down.”
Shaq implies that it’s not him or his team but WWE would love to have this type of match at WrestleMania. It’s difficult to see where the stall is. WrestleMania is about entertainment and this is the only time where they can pull this match and it works.
We’re just over a month away from WrestleMania, which is in Orlando this year so hopefully they work things out.
