Earlier, reports surfaced that LeBron was pushing hard for the Cavs to trade Kevin Love for his good friend Carmelo Anthony. The report indicated that Cavs management was against including Love in any trade, but LeBron didn’t mind making Love available.
As expected, after a big performance tonight, LeBron has denied that he was pushing for the trade.
UPDATE: A team source told ESPN on Monday night "there is no substance to any of that" in regards to the report.

Denying a rumor about wanting to trade your teammate is always the right thing to do, and LeBron has been around the NBA long enough to know that. In the past, LeBron has expressed his desire to play with either Chris Paul or Carmelo Anthony before their careers are done, so the opportunity to seize the moment known must have crossed his mind. The NBA trade deadline is February 23rd, so we are about to find out the truth.
LeBron will do this on camera in a minute, but he too has denied the Daily News report. Vehemently. With choice words
