Florida has offered up plenty of reasons for them to be banned and another has been added.
WKMG reports a man from Ormond Beach, who declined to share his name shot a cat with a BB gun.
The cat killer said, it “looked at him like he owned the place” before relieving itself on his property.
He didn’t want to hurt the cat, just wanted the cat to get off his walkway.
It was not my intention to hurt that cat. All I wanted to do was get it out in front of my walkway, stop pooping. For the flies and the smell is just horrendous,”
It’s understandable that you don’t want any animal pooping on your property, but shoot it? Just throw something or yell at it.
The man said he is on disability and has several health issues. He hopes to only get a fine, not a felony but you know people love their pets and have a soft spot for animals.
The state attorney’s office is reviewing the case to determine whether there’s enough evidence to charge the man with felony animal cruelty.
