We’re not even a full month in the Donald Trump era and there’s already talks of a possible impeachment down the line. In the midst of a plethora of proposals, Trump attempted to stop all travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries.
Once everyone caught wind of Trump’s motives, protests were formed all over the country. After all, the United States of America is supposed to be the land of the free, right?
When four-time MVP LeBron James received his NAACP Jackie Robinson award, he placed his stamp on Trump’s idea.
“Diversity is what makes this country so great,” James stressed. “I stand with the many, many Americans who believe this does not represent what the United States is all about.”
“We should all continue to speak up and fight for ideas that bring people together regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs or any other differences.”
As LeBron has matured over the years, he’s made it a point to speak up on social issues. However, before LeBron speaks on a matter, he makes sure he’s very knowledgeable of the situation.
