When cops arrived to the house of Demetrius Vidale with a warrant for a simple DNA sample, they left with more than they could carry.
According to WSVN TV, Demetrius Vidale, 24, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting that occurred around 3 a.m. Monday near Tropicante Nightclub.
Police believe Vidale was involved in the of shooting and robbing of a club-goer.
As authorities crowd his doorstep the suspect opens fire on officers which, helps him manage to escape capture. Until he was caught while driving in Fort Lauderdale the next day.
As officers pull over Vidale, they served him with a search warrant to get his DNA in order to match him to the crime scene. Demetrius refused to let officers take his fingerprints, picture or DNA.
While the paperwork was being processed, Vidale has a change of heart and decides that he wants to cooperate with police. Offering authorities a special form of DNA, Vidale uses the warrant as toilet paper and drops a load right on the paper
According to the report Vidale, drops his pants and proceeds to dedicate on the court ordered warrant.
Now facing an even longer list of charges. He is now charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, armed robbery, obstructing a police officer executing a search warrant and driving with a revoked license, according to the criminal complaint.
Current records show that Vidale is still begin held behind bars at the Broward County Main Jail.
