Hall of Fame basketball coach Bobby Knight was the target of an FBI and US Army investigation after four women report he grouped them before and after a 2015 speaking engagement.
According to the Washington Post,
The women “accused Knight of a range of boorish behavior: from touching them on the shoulder while commenting on the attractiveness of their legs, to hugging them too tightly around the chest, to hitting them on the buttocks.”
Craig Whitlock, who penned the story for Washington Posts, reports that Virginia opted not to file charges against Knight, and the case was subsequently closed in July 2016. James Voyles, Knight’s attorney, further states that no wrong doing occurred and FBI agents assigned to the case “reported to their superiors that there was no basis for any further action, period.”
The criminal investigation into Knight lasted a year, ending when FBI agents visited Knight at his home in Montana in 2016.
