J.J. Watt is the latest to go in on Lonzo Ball, LaVar and the BBB brand. In a tweet on Thursday night the Texans defensive end, made the internet aware of his new sneaker. He included a couple obvious digs at the BBB brand and Lonzo. Watt talks about price, the effectiveness of his shoe and the last burn; he actually wears his shoe. The interesting thing here is, Watt had to attack the BBB line just to make people aware that he has a shoe.

Be honest. Did you know Watt had his own shoe? While his sneaker may be cheaper and because it is a Reebok line, it may be better tested than the ZO2s. But, do you all see what’s happening here? An independent made to order sneaker company is out marketing an established company promoting an established NFL’s star sneaker line. Watt needs the buzz around Lonzo and the BBB brand to give his own Reebok line, credibility. Incredible.
