With the news of LeBron’s growing offseason frustrations, everyone wants to know what will be the Cavaliers next move.
Sports Illustrated’s Maggie Gray caught up with Kyrie Irving while at the Sports Illustrated‘s Fashionable 50 event, to gather his thoughts on whats been happening.. or should I say what hasn’t been happening with the Cavs this offseaon.
While other teams throughout the league are snatching up key players left and right during free agency. Cleveland surprisingly has yet to make a move toward any possible improvement to their roster. With everyone’s eyes glued to the many free agency trades, I guess we will have do like Kyrie and just trust the process.
In an interview with SI Irving says that the Cavaliers are
“in a very peculiar place”. Further stating that, “We just have to, you know, make sure all our pieces are aligned first, and then we go from there. It’s just summer time, a lot of craziness going on in the NBA. Best to just observe and then see what happens, but obviously there are some things that I’m pretty sure our organization wants to do, and we’ll go from there.”
While Kyrie seems to be taking a more patient route. LeBron has made his frustrations with the lack of the Cavaliers offseason activity, crystal clear.
And with some of the big fish like Paul George and John Wall already accounted for, who James has his targets set on is unclear. But what is certain, is that LeBron is ready to shake things up and bring in some fresh talent to Cleveland.
