Live and direct from his Moscow home (gained citizenship in 2016), America’s favorite film culture vulture Steven Seagal stopped by Piers Morgan’s show Good Morning Britain to weigh-in on the wave of protests by American athletes.
“I believe in free speech. I believe that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But I don’t agree they should hold the United States of America and the world hostage by picking a venue where people are tuning in to watch a football game and imposing their political views.”
Doubling down on his comments, he went so far as to call the protests “disgusting.”
Morgan goes on to question him further on his firm position on protests given his closeness with alleged election-fixer Vladimir Putin.
