I had no idea that eye tattoos were even possible or desirable by anyone, but it appears to be a thing. Catt Gallinger is a tattoo model from Ottawa, Canada and tried to take her tattoo game to the next level with an eye tattoo, but things went horribly wrong.
Her tattoo artist injected purple ink into her sclera, which is the white part of the eye, but it seeped deeper into the eye and damaged her vision. Now she is warning others of the procedure, as she has lost vision in her right eye and it might be permanent.
Gallinger said the following regarding her botched tattoo.
“I took my eyesight for granted and trusted someone I shouldn’t have. And even if this heals, my eyesight is not going to be back,” she said in a tearful video she uploaded Monday.” “It will either go completely or stay a blurry mess,”
