Draymond wasn’t here for Swaggy and JaVale’s mixtape.
On Thursday, Warriors guard Nick Young and center JaVale McGee teased a new album on social media.
Count Draymond Green among those not hyped about the project’s potential release.
“Not really interested in hearing it,” Green said Thursday afternoon.
Green’s beef isn’t with JaVale but Swaggy.
Green’s lack of interest has less to do with McGee’s musical acumen, and more so Young’s ability to rap.
“I don’t want to listen to Nick rap,” Green said. “You got to get a better artist.”
When Swaggy heard about it, he had this to say.
“I heard Draymond [Green] talking a little trash,” Young said. “We’ll make a diss track.”
What will Young say?
“I can’t tell you, man,” Young said, smiling. “It’s going to come out probably New Year’s.”
Young shared on Instagram this week that he has spent time recently with McGee in the studio to record a hip-hop album. And the two were not joking. McGee, who raps under the moniker “Pierre,” has produced five songs on Apple Music this year, including his latest release ‘Same Ol G’ featuring feat. Omar Kadir & Rome Castille. McGee also produces beats on the team’s charter plane. Meanwhile, Young likes West-Coast hip-hop artists and has an affection for Kanye West’s music and fashion sense.
I am looking forward to this.
