Joakim Noah served a 20-game suspension this season for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy and hasn’t been effective for the Knicks since his return. He is now facing another suspension due to personal reasons after yelling at Head Coach Jeff Hornacek in New York’s loss to Golden State this week.
The confrontation between Noah and Hornacek happened after Hornacek pulled Noah out of the game in the fourth quarter. Lack of playing time is also a huge factor here in Noah’s frustration, according to an NBA source.
Due to the turmoil with Noah, the Knicks have suspended him for the next two games. Both will be on the road vs the Nuggets and Suns.
In seven games with the Knicks this season, Noah has only averaged one point and two rebounds per game.
